Why Do I Need a Chiropractor?

Today more than ever we are concerned with our health and overall well-being. More and more time and research is going into understanding the role our nervous system has in our overall health.  The nervous system is a highway of communication within us that controls virtually every aspect of our lives.  Like a highway congested with traffic, the daily grind of our lives causes the nervous system to get backed up, degrading our health.  Dr. Starling will work to do away with the traffic helping you maintain a properly functioning nervous system.  She will work to align body and mind and allow you to feel your best.  Most people think being healthy is the absence of pain or symptoms, a Colorado chiropractor will show you how it feels to be truly healthy and feel the natural energy we all have inside us.

Dr. Starling is an expert in the care of bones, nerves, muscles, and connective tissues, which make up almost 60% of your body. She can provide spinal adjustments, nutritional advice, exercise recommendations, and other methods of treatment based on your particular needs. Chiropractic techniques treat Disc Problems, Headaches, Lower Back Problems, Neck Pain, Whiplash, and many other ailments.

Anyone looking to restore or maintain their health should look into what Chiropractic Medicine can do for them. We all have spinal columns, we all have nervous systems, and we are all exposed to different levels of stress, which have an adverse affect on that system. If you suffer from any of the following symptoms, then Dr. Starling can help you.

  • Headaches
    Neck Pain
    Low Back Pain
    Pain between your shoulders
Pain, numbness, or tingling down your arms or legs
    Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Sore or tender spots in muscles or joints
Decrease of motion in your back, neck, or hips
    Any unexplained health problems

Subluxations Can Be Very Dangerous

Dr. Starling will focus to restore your personal health by removing subluxations from the spine and other areas of the body.  A subluxation is an alteration of spinal bones from normal alignment due to stress, physical trauma, emotional trauma, and chemical imbalances.  A subluxation can have serious consequences on your physical health since your brain uses the spinal cord and nerves to communicate with every muscle, gland, joint, and tissue in the body.  You can often feel nerve interference within the muscles of your back or neck, the problem can go much deeper. A nerve channel “blockage” can cause problems much more severe than muscle and joint pain.

By focusing on the health of your spine and nerves, Dr. Starling can show you how it feels to be truly healthy.  She can adjust your system so that it is functioning properly and make sure that you keep it that way forever. She offers you a personalized approach to well-being through spinal adjustments, stress management, exercise, and nutrition.

In Doubt about Gout?

Gout is a form of arthritis that this characterized by sudden reoccurring attacks of severe pain, redness, tenderness, heat/warmth, and swelling in the joints of the body. The metatarsal-phalangeal joint is the most commonly affected area of the body, but it can also affect other major joints of the body (ex: hand, wrist, elbow, knee, ankle, etc…). Gout is commonly caused by an increased intake in foods that are rich in purines and/or a dysfunction of the kidney’s ability to properly excrete uric acid from the body.
